The room features a Queen bed with a firm 14″-thick mattress, 1 full-size sofa-bed with designer floor lamp, Tiffany light with ceiling medallion, and juke-box radio with blue-tooth. Amenities include a 40″ flat-screen TV, shared 200-Mbs WIFI, card table with chairs, desk with outlets, microwave, medium refrigerator, coffee maker, and carport next to room. The bathroom features wood-like porcelain tiles, giving the bathroom a spa-like feel. The unit is ideally suited for peak season during Coachella / Stagecoach / Desert Daze / Glen Helen / NOS music festivals, or the motorbike Raceways.

The space

We are a small vintage 50’s complex off the beaten track on the Historic 395 Route with both nightly motel rooms and extended-stay leasable individual apartments. We kept the outside looking retro for historical charm. Inside the units have been renovated. Furnishings are brand new. Some of the other units feature a separate and windowed kitchen equipped with a full stove and eating area. Most of these are occupied. Historically, we have had occupants (maids, handymen, some guests) live here permanently for decades. Each stopped by on a spur, and then stayed then on. The internet is fast; we provided a complimentary Roku device for free movies and tv; but bring your own Roku, AppleTV, or Firestick device if you have special subscriptions. This unit is ideal for travel nurses working RUH or RCH. Why hop from AirBnB to AirBnB renting rooms in houses staying with landlords? It is hard to find your own place with kitchen at this price and with a flexible lease.

If seasonable, you can access our fruit-tree garden and pick some fruit.

Other things to note

Must provide government ID or passport upon check-in. The maximum occupancy is 2 guests. Please be upfront on the number of guests; we will try to accommodate you if possible.

For stays less than 29 days, We require a $250 security deposit on a major credit card, no debit cards or Chime cards nor cash accepted. No Extended Stays allowed.
