The Brown
Room
The room features a Queen bed with a firm 14″-thick mattress, a full-size sofa-bed, medium-size retro refrigerator, and juke-box radio with blue-tooth. Amenities include a 40″ flat-screen TV, shared 200-Mbs WIFI, retro Atari game console, lounge chair, desk with outlets, microwave, coffee table, coffee maker, and carport next to room. The bathroom features a distinct sink, designer toilet, porcelain tiles, and amazing water pressure, all giving the bathroom a spa-like feel. The unit is ideally suited for peak season during Coachella / Stagecoach / Desert Daze / Glen Helen / NOS music festivals, or the motorbike Raceways.
The space
We are a small vintage 50’s complex off the beaten track on the Historic 395 Route with both nightly motel rooms and long-termed leasable individual apartments. We kept the outside looking retro for historical charm. Inside the units have been renovated. Furnishings are brand new. Some of the other units feature a separate and windowed kitchen equipped with a full stove and eating area. Most of these are occupied. We have had occupants live here permanently for decades. The internet is fast; so bring your own Roku, AppleTV, or Firestick device. Check out our live-size dinosaurs and tree gardens! Good for photo ops!
Guest access
If seasonable, you can access our fruit tree garden and pick some fruit.
Other things to note
Must provide government ID or passport upon check-in. The maximum occupancy is 3 guests. Please be upfront on the number of guests; we will try to accommodate you if possible.
We do require a $250 security deposit on a major credit card, no debit cards or Chime cards nor cash allowed. No Extended Stays allowed.
