The space

We are a small vintage 50’s complex off the beaten track on the Historic 395 Route with both nightly motel rooms and extended-stay kitchen-studio units. We kept the outside looking retro for historical charm. Inside the units have been renovated. Furnishings are brand new. Some of the other units feature a separate and windowed kitchen equipped with a full stove and eating area. Most of these are occupied. We have had occupants live here permanently for decades. The internet is fast; so bring your own Roku, AppleTV, or Firestick device. Check out our live-size dinosaurs and tree gardens! Good for photo ops!

Guest access

If seasonable, you can access our fruit tree garden and pick some fruit.

Other things to note

Must provide government ID or passport upon check-in. The maximum occupancy is 2 guests. Please be upfront on the number of guests; we will try to accommodate you if possible.

For stays less than 29 days, we do require a $250 security deposit on a major credit card, no debit cards or Chime cards nor cash allowed. Stays longer than 29 days require a soft credit check.

LIMITED EXTENDED STAY

This Aparthotel-studio unit with a full kitchen room rents out by the week (7 days) upto 29-consecutive days at $65/day plus TOT tax with a major credit card (no debit cards) and $500 security deposit. If needed beyond the initial 29-day stay, we can approve a limited (3 to 6 month) Extended Stay* with a soft credit and background check via a third party company at the rate with Rent=$1590/month (tax exempt), Security Deposit=$1590: $100 extra for stays less than 3 months; Maximum occupancy 1 or 2 people; $125 extra for 2nd person; All Utils Paid, Attached Full-Kitchen, new stove, full-size refrigerator, upgraded country-style kitchen wall-faucet (not shown), carpet, AC/Heater, new wood-like tile floor in bathroom, shower with spa filter and porcelain handles, toilet, new bathroom sink and faucet, gardening area, planter in front of unit, fruit-tree garden, private residential Spectrum hookup in unit for fast (300 Mbs or more) Internet Speeds and/or Cable, Frontier DSL & Phone also available in area, NO PETS, Occupants pay for internet, phone, cable. Credit Criteria: Vantage Score > 670, 2.5x income for rent, clean-credit history, no cosigners. For government-assisted applicants, Code SB267 applies.

*Extended Stay = beyond the taxable initial 29-day stay and that is permitted via California Code Section 1904.1
